July 26 – August 1, 2019
Friday and Saturday were errand days, but on Saturday I was also shopping for a new phone. I did my research well beforehand to narrow down my choices. I chose to buy the Samsung Galaxy A70, and so far I love it! I’m not quite used to all the camera settings yet, but I am already familiar with the Android software. I’ve been finding quirks on it that I like much better than my old Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra (what a long name haha). That evening, I started transferring over my data and setting up my new phone. Saturday night I tested the low light camera on chocolate-covered blueberries that I ate for dessert. The picture came out brighter than what my eyes were seeing!
That night was a big UFC with Cris Cyborg and Max Holloway fighting on the main card. It was hosted in Edmonton Alberta, so there were quite a few Canadian fighters, including one from Montreal (Oliver Aubin-Mercier) and one from Gatineau (Marc-Andre Barriault). I ordered in Burgers and Fries Forever (BFF) and had the Smokin Bird burger. It had a huge piece of fried chicken, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli.
Sunday was a late Spring cleaning kind of day. I threw out some items I don’t need anymore and stored things in storage. That night, it was the end for voting on the MV Community Awards. We placed in the top 5 for MV Live Tip Menu of the Year, so Manyvids will be announcing the winner on August 11th. Thank you to everyone who voted!
Monday I chose to go for a run even though it was 33 degrees Celsius (91F) outside. I didn’t go too far, maybe 5 km, but when I got back, I was burning! I stood in front of the A/C, had two ice packs, and took a nap. It took me 2 hours to finally come back to my normal temperature!
Tuesday my new business cards came in for the upcoming expo!
Wednesday I did more late spring cleaning around the apartment. For the month of July on Manyvids, we claimed the #4 spot! Our best month ever! Thank you guys, you rock! We also drew the Nude Beach Polaroid Raffle. Congrats to spqr_aqua and colwebs!
Schedule change! From now on, I will not be online on Fridays and Saturdays on Manyvids. I will be using them as a chill day/occasional content day to make videos for example. See my full schedule here.
