September 13 – 19, 2019
Friday was a chill day playing video games and listening to music. I had a BFF burger for supper called The Smokin’ Bird which has buttermilk siracha fried chicken, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli.
Saturday morning I went to the Sunset Grill for brunch and ordered an eggs benedict. This place is very close to the Rideau Canal so I also took a walk by the water on the gorgeous sunny day. The days have been cool, but the sunny days have perfect temperatures of around 20 degrees Celcius. For supper, I had pork and rice with veggies.
Sunday I cleaned around the apartment and took a walk. I did some grocery shopping for supper and bought fresh pasta, sausage, and halloumi cheese.
I woke up Monday bright and early for a dentist appointment in the morning. It was just for a checkup/cleaning, so I was quickly in and out. Back home I received my NEW NESPRESSO MACHINE! I was so happy I took it out of the box immediately and prepped it! It came with 16 assorted pods to try some of their flavours. So far, I’m loving it! I’ve even made a document to track which ones I want to buy more of, and ones I don’t. For supper, I ate chicken skewers with potatoes and salad.
Tuesday and Wednesday I was editing the September photo set and other offline work. In the pictures below are meals from the two days.
Thursday I continued planning for my trip in October for the Exxxotica convention. I also wrote the blog while having Subway and probably my last bubble tea of the summer. I’ve also noticed the leaves here are starting to change colours for autumn!
