Lots of great food this week! I went on a hike and watched an eventful UFC night!

Friday I finished building the drawers for the dresser. Then I rearranged and organized my cam room, and ran errands. I had a homemade burger and fries for supper.

Saturday I went into La Senza to exchange a new top I got for a bigger size. It fits great now! I went out for dinner at Gongfu Bao on the main Bank Street. This was the first time eating bao buns at a restaurant. It was so good! A bao bun is a Chinese taco shaped steamed bun that is super soft on the inside. I had the Shaoxing Pork, Braised Brisket, and Fried Chicken Bao. They also had a special one for a Grilled Cheese Baozi which looks a little different and is closed.

Saturday night there were big UFC fights on. The first two fights on the main card were exciting but not as exciting as the third. The 3rd fight was between Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa. The whole three rounds were very action-packed and I thought Romero was winning the majority of the time. When it came to a decision, the judges scored it as a unanimous decision for Costa! I was shocked! I thought Romero had it, and to have the judges say it wasn’t even a split decision was totally unexpected. If you’re into watching MMA, I encourage you to search for the fight and stream it. Who do you think won in your opinion? The Anthony Pettis and Nate Diaz fight were fun to watch as well. The main event was intense. It was Daniel Cormier (D.C.) vs Stipe Miocic for a Heavyweight Championship fight with D.C. having the belt. Those fights can have 5 rounds, and the first 3 rounds Miocic was losing pretty badly. The 4th round did a complete 180. Miocic was beating up D.C. with hits to the right side of his body. When D.C. started to flinch to protect his body, Miocic started headshots. He timed the right punch to knock out D.C.!

Sunday I went for a hike in the Gatineau Park on the Waterfall Trail. It was very humid, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying my time deep in nature. For dinner, I had a homemade tuna tartare with grilled halloumi cheese and raspberry jam.

Monday I built my new bathroom shelf/cupboard and started putting towels and things on it. It’s been so long without having proper storage in the bathroom, I was so excited to clear the counter! I’ll show you guys when I do a shower show online. For the rest of the day, I edited my August photo set and had a homemade Piri-Piri chicken burger with corn on the cob for supper.

Tuesday I took some custom ordered pictures and messaged some models I met at the expo a couple of weeks ago. I’m hoping to arrange a collaboration with another girl! I ate a really tasty cod dish for supper.

Wednesday I went into the Rideau Centre to look in the Nespresso store because I want to get a new coffee machine. I’ve had my Keurig for 4 years, and now it’s been brewing watered-down coffee. So, I think it’s time for a change! I took a short walk after on Rideau St. to Presotea for milk bubble tea. On ManyVids, I entered the Fashion Show Winning Wednesday contest. I like to enter the 1 day only contests sometimes so I’m not spamming you guys with “vote for me” tweets. We placed #34!

Thursday I was in a webinar learning about business things from my website host. It was my first time doing this, and it was great! I learned some new skills and websites to check out. Dinner was steak and potato wedges!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Lacey
