December 20 – 26, 2019

Friday was a typical day off with chilling and watching Netflix. Saturday after work I went out to Joey to have supper. I’ve been a couple of times before and I really liked their food and atmosphere. On the way there, I walked through Confederation Park and took in all the lights shone on the trees. At the restaurant, I had sliders for an appetizer and a prawn and lobster ravioli. Everything I had was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The UFC was on bright and early at 5 am, so I didn’t get to watch this one. Looking at the results though, there was a fighter from Montreal and another from the Ottawa area that I watched live a while back at TKO!

On Sunday, I went out for Christmas groceries and picked up a log cake (I’ve never had one until this week).

I finished editing my photo set on Monday, and decided to post it right away! You can find this month’s photo set, Santa Baby, here

Christmas Eve was a gorgeous sunny day in the Capital! There were no clouds, a bit windy and -3 degrees Celcius feeling like -9. I walked around the Byward Market and went to the lookout beside the bridge to Quebec. I people-watched around the market and looked at all the food in the Le Moulin de Provence bakery.

Merry Christmas! I cleaned the apartment for a family dinner and donned my new ugly Christmas sweater. This is my first one! I was feeling the Grizwald Christmas Vacation movie when I bought this one having a squirrel in the Christmas tree. The dinner went well and people didn’t leave until almost midnight! The log cake I bought was delicious! It had buttercream frosting and a fruit jam with caramel swirled inside. I didn’t get much cleaning done because I was way too tired. The next morning I ran a couple of quick errands and finished cleaning up and rearranging from the day before.

We also placed #77 in the Holiday Hottie contest on Manyvids! Thank you for voting!

My Cammiversary show is Friday the 27th! I hope you can join me!

Thanks for reading!
