Healthy Habits

June 7 – 13, 2019

This week’s blog is called Healthy Habits because I am finally starting to create a workout routine and stick to it. I’m also starting to get back into bike riding for the summer.

Friday when I finished last week’s blog I decided to go for a long bike ride in the gorgeous sunny weather. I ended up going to see the Hog’s Back Falls by taking the Rideau Canal. It was such an amazing scenic ride. I was glad it wasn’t any hotter because biking on the path there was little to no shade and the sun was fully out.

For supper that night, I was craving sushi. After I ran some errands, I picked some up to eat at home. I ended up having a chill night playing video games and watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

I took the day off cam for Saturday because I was feeling under the weather. It wasn’t anything to worry about but I did end up going into the doctor and waiting for most of the day there. I worked on offline cam work while waiting and at home. I also squeezed in a workout before supper!

It was a UFC night and what a great night it was! In the spirit of the night, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with a twist, and a 2L of Sprite to mix in drinks for the night. What are your thoughts on pineapple on pizza? Comment below! The main card was a full line up of exciting fights. One of the fights I was looking forward to, got a doctor stoppage between the 2nd and 3rd round. It was too bad to not see the full fight, but up to that point, I was really enjoying it. The next two I wanted to see were both championship fights. The women’s flyweight champ defended her belt and finished with a KO in round 2. The men’s bantamweight belt was claimed by Henry Cejudo who now has belts in 2 weight classes and an Olympic medal.

Sunday I slept in, in the morning from the late night before. I cleaned the apartment and went to an appointment in the afternoon and ran errands afterward. Before I knew it, the day was already winding down and it was time for cam. We had an awesome night and jumped 5 ranks!

I began with a workout to kick off my busy Monday. Packages were packaged, planning was planned, and I also started making plans with a couple of photographers for the upcoming photo sets. I took a nap before cam but still had coffee at night. I also finished editing the June photo set (Garden Girl is up now!) and got it ready to publish.

Tuesday I did a workout and went to eat lunch at Centrale Bergham. I had their Twist burger which in addition to the beef patty, had egg, bacon, cheese, veggies and a special sauce. One main thing to note about this chain is their sauces. They don’t give you the “normal” ketchup, mustard and mayo. They have so many different sauces to choose from, and with a fries combo, you get a choice of two to go with it. While it was delicious, it was not the best burger I’ve had and the sauces were really the stars of my meal.

After lunch, I continued to check off my list. I got some props for the photoshoots and went to the post office. I posted the Garden Girl photo set when I got back home and added the member galleries to the homepage!

Wednesday was sunny and a high of 25 degrees Celsius. It was the last day before the dreaded 5 days of rain! So after a workout, I went for a walk that turned into a longer walk than I initially thought. It was such a gorgeous day that I kept walking and walking. I ended up crossing a bridge to the Gatineau side and found a dock and sat on a bench. In the time I was lounging, a family of Canada geese came swimming by!

I went out on my balcony for some more sun time and listened to music. I organized my coin collection and added some new pennies I had gotten. That took me until supper and getting ready for cam.

Thursday was a full day of making custom videos! They were all super fun to make, and they should be up very soon. You can be a director too! Get your custom video here but don’t forget to message me before you order.

I know I’ve mentioned me working out a lot in this week’s blog, but I am super determined and excited to share that I’m taking my exercise more seriously. The goal is to workout 5 times a week on top of my bike rides and such. So far so good! My record of sticking with it is around a week, so I’m coming close to beating it!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Lacey
