July 19 – 25, 2019
This week I went on a Pokemon hunting adventure and reviewed some bottled coffee!
Friday and Saturday (after cam) were lazy days. I ran errands and relaxed in front of the couch watching Netflix.
Sunday before cam I was doing some offline work with the MV contest. Manyvids posted on their blog that they will be the big sponsor for the QWEBEC Expo. This is a networking expo, so I won’t be meeting fans there. It’s August 6-9 and will have events, seminars and of course a show floor.
Monday was a filming day. I made 2 videos before jumping on cam. The new videos are “Denim Fetish with Hitachi” and “Bikini Ice Show”.
Tuesday I edited and posted the new videos. My phone has been acting up lately, so I’m looking to get a new phone. The one I have now is a Sony Xperia and I’ve had it for 2.5 years. I’m not sure which phone I’ll buy yet, but I will be shopping on the weekend for it. I’m looking for a phone that has exceptional camera quality.
Wednesday I took a walk around the Byward Market to see what I could see. I remembered the Pokemon Go app that I usually redownload in the summer (I uninstall it in the winter because it’s too cold to go out for walks), and I thought I would go hunt for Pokemon. When I got hungry, I went into the Rideau Centre to grab a bubble tea and a beef teriyaki dish.
Thursday I was writing the blog while eating some frozen (I cooked it, obviously) pizza.
I have a review for you guys! I bought two Tim Hortons “take-home” bottles to try. One was Iced Coffee and the other was a Mocha flavoured Iced Capp.
I had the Iced Coffee one first. I thought it didn’t taste like an ordered iced coffee from Timmies. It was almost like a completely different drink because it was thicker and almost smoothie-like. Overall though, I did like it and would buy it again.
For the second drink, I actually didn’t notice I picked up a flavoured one. I thought the Iced Capp was disappointing. It was too sweet (and that’s me talking), it didn’t taste much like an Iced Capp and the “mocha” completely overpowered the drink. I find it funny that the label says improved taste…Well, not to my liking I guess. I’m curious to taste the “original” version.
Now for the comparison. The Iced Coffee has less caffeine content than the iced capp (88mg vs 106 per 340ml) which surprised me. A small iced coffee ordered is 380ml at $1.79, and a small iced capp 380ml at $2.49, while both bottles were 340ml at $3. I can see myself stocking up on some for cam at night, but other than that, it’s more worth it to go and order from your local Tim Hortons.
Have you tried these before? Let me know what you thought!
Also, another heads up that I will not be online this Saturday (Jul 27) as I am taking my tipped day off!
Thanks for reading!
xoxo Lacey
